Through the connections of Ann wainwright (former editor of Teesside's Poetic Licence magazine in the early 80's), Ann, who had moved to the Hull area, arranged for a group of poets who had performed at the Hull Literature festival to perfom in Middlesbrough at the Laurel Hotel for Merlin's Cauldron.
